Menkes celebrated another successful year on the green in support of life-changing care for Torontonians

Toronto- Sept. 30, 2022- Menkes Developments Ltd (Menkes) proudly hosted its 22nd Annual Menkes Charity Golf Classic. After a two-year hiatus as a result of Covid-19, everything was in full swing (pun intended) this year. The tournament returned to Lionhead Golf Club in Mississauga and was attended by family, employees and sponsors, with 270 golfers in attendance.

In keeping with its mission to help as many worthwhile charitable causes as possible, in addition to fulfilling the final year of a three-year commitment to The Speech and Stuttering Institute, Menkes is pleased to support the George Hull Centre for Children and Families, St. Clare’s Multifaith Housing Society and the Canada-Ukraine Foundation’s Humanitarian Appeal Campaign. With no end in sight to the crisis in Ukraine, the Company wanted to do its part to help the people of Ukraine. The organization helps those in Ukraine most affected by Russian aggression.

Despite the two-year hiatus as a result of the pandemic, in 2020, Menkes was proud to raise nearly $40,000 for the Out of the Cold Foundation, thanks to the generous support of its donors.

This year’s Menkes Charity Golf Classic raised $160,000, and a total of $1.8 million for various charities since its inception.
