WINNERS, Coppa’s and Mercatino Coming to Downtown Toronto in 2018

The new stores will be part of a large-scale mixed-use office, residential and retail complex at York and Harbour Streets in the rapidly-expanding South Core district, which is home to a growing number of residential buildings, commercial towers and entertainment venues such as the Air Canada Centre, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, and the Rogers Centre. Connected to Toronto’s comprehensive PATH network, the complex was developed by Menkes and includes a 35-storey office tower called One York Street (also known as Sun Life Financial Tower), two 70 and 66-storey condominium towers known as Harbour Plaza Residences, a four-storey retail podium and a four level underground parking garage. WINNERS, Coppa’s and Mercatino will join Pure Fitness in the complex.

WINNERS and Coppa’s will be located on the second floor of the retail podium in the One York / Harbour Plaza complex. Joining Pure Fitness on the fourth floor of the complex, Harbour Eats by Mercatino will operate an impressive food hall with an expansive terrace overlooking a new city park and Lake Ontario.  Pedestrian entrances are at street level and PATH level, and designated retail parking is accessible from both Harbour Street and Lake Shore Boulevard.

Pure Fitness is scheduled to open Summer 2017, followed by Harbour Eats by Mercatino in Fall 2017. Both WINNERS and Coppa’s will open in early 2018.

Approximately 85,000 square feet in the retail podium at One York has now been leased. The balance of the space available will be marketed to a unique 6,500 square feet restaurant capable of utilizing the Harbour Street patio fronting onto the new park, as well as 60,000 square feet on the third floor to home goods and entertainment uses that benefit from PATH access, direct loading and limited competition downtown.
