Menkes in the Community

Menkes’ Charity Golf Classic at the Lionhead Golf Club in Brampton was the 18th annual event hosted by Menkes Developments. Always well-attended by family, friends, employees and sponsors, the tournament has continued to be a success. This year, after stepping off of the green, Menkes Developments has even more to celebrate.

Thanks to the generosity of its donors, sponsors and volunteers, Menkes was able to raise $165,000 to benefit Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute (part of the University Health Network) and West Park Healthcare Centre. The funds raised this year increased Menkes’ cumulative fundraising efforts from its Charity Golf Classic to over $1million since its inception.

Menkes was a proud sponsor of the Tic-Tac-Toe game at this year’s Sugar Shack TO at Sugar Beach, in partnership with Waterfront Toronto.  The event featured all sorts of maple-infused goodies as well as family-friendly entertainment and activities.

Menkes is honoured to be a part of the Princess Margaret Cancer Centres’ Home Lottery, with a Bryon Patton decorated condo at Fabrik which is the lottery’s  biggest bonus prize ever.
